Tagging finished goods and moving to the warehouse for outbound shipments.
Duties:
Completing the daily forklift inspection sheet.
Retrieves all raw materials using the bar-coding system and drops in the production staging area Staging the production lines with raw materials Creating pallet tags for each pallet and being responsible for printing and verifying correct information on the pallet tags.
Retrieves all finished goods and moves product to the Warehouse for inventory using the bar-coding system and FIFO Assist in other areas of the warehouse operation when time and schedule allows.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Comply with the standards of the current level of SQF Systems for general food processing and trained in all required food safety / quality programs including but not limited to Personal Hygiene, Allergens, Sanitation, HACCP, Organic Processing, Food Defense, and Security and Threat Awareness Responsible for reporting any food safety, quality and employee safety issues to management Job Requirements:
Must be a self starter, motivated, resourceful individual.
Must be familiar with a computer or RF scanner guns.
Ability to ready work instructions.
Ability to bend, kneel, balance, reach, stand, push, pull, lift, move wrist, hands and fingers.
Able to drive a forklift.
Able to climb stairs and/or production stairways.
Required education level:
High School diploma or GED helpful.
Prior forklift experience required.
Hours/Days/Shifts:
Monday through Thursday and as mandated on Fridays and Saturdays.
Second Shift is 4:
30pm to 3:
